The Black Sheep Museum

The virtual Black Sheep Museum site can soon be viewed and visited in the terrestrial Black Sheep Museum in Orgiva, Granada, Spain.

De Shepherd and d'Apprenticesheep are selling the carefully rebuilt and renovated small farm ( finca ) and are loaning the art work of the Black Sheep Museum over an initial 10 year period.

Los Dos Hermanos ( The Two Brothers ) is the cortijo / farm holding the avant-garde fine art works and is located off the main road leading along the famous white villages of the spanish Alpujarras so frequently visited all throughout the year, potentially generating additional income from the last Hippy commune in Europe that lies just above the cortijo and is about 5 km away from Orgiva, the capital of the Alpujarras.

The cortijo is built with extra care by the artist himself using the best building materials available. The walls have been raised using special insulation blocks and built up on the outside with the rocks of the original building.

The inside holds some 135 mts square and constisted of the shepherd´s quarters and the coral. The cortijo could be devided into living quarter´s and Museum rooms leaving a taste of the artist´s life similar to Charleston, the location where the Bloomsbury group shared their lives.

In winter runs the stream in the riverbed bordering the lower terrace of the land and all year round is water gurgling on the cortijos terrace in the asequiar ( the water channel ) used for irrigating all the land below along the valley.
The cortijo has a seperate water supply from the well and also has mains electricity supply. Additionally there is a cassita on the land behind the cortijo. The hippies living in Beneficio and the numerous visitors to the commune could be offered all the mod coms that a camp site would offer and such as an Internet cafe.

All the papers are in order.

The buyers must comprehensively insure the fine art works.

There is no property tax ( council/ adjuntamiento taxes ) to be paid on this property.
